Hayyy girl Hayyy! Ladies- Meet Prisca Liliane. On top of being a beautiful, strong-willed and determined young woman, Prisca has spent the last 9 years climbing the corporate ladder as a Property Manager. While excelling in her career Prisca has taken the last two years to focus on helping other women love and explore the beauty of Caribbean culture by laying the ground work of her personal brand and community: priscaliliane (stylized in all lowercase) which embodies all things Caribbean. Cultured. And Curated.
Prisca grew up in Houston, Texas and was raised by her father (of Jamaican decent) who did his best to raise her alone- after Prisca’s mother passed away in a tragic car accident when Prisca was only twelve years old. Prisca’s mother is of Haitian decent and as “a child of immigrant parents Prisca became deeply fascinated by island life, culture, cuisine and all things Caribbean” at a very young age.
Prisca believes that the Caribbean culture “is often a neglected group in the media but when it’s time for a fabulous vacation the Caribbean is the first place that people go to seek beauty, in a get-away” and it was this concept that pushed Prisca to bring priscaliliane to life. When it comes to understanding “political and socioeconomic topics regarding Caribbean culture, Prisca wants to make sure that her community is there to step in and help others understand the facts.”
The two main values of priscaliliane are: “all things Caribbean” & “all things self-care” and this year Prisca is dedicated to helping other women learn more about the Caribbean Culture and themselves, simultaneously.
Currently, priscaliliane is growing its community and emphasizing “the needs of various islands and women”. Their community is known for their authenticity and open-minded dialog. You can expect to discuss everything from culture to spirituality to self-care, therapy and the importance of creating personal goals while in their presence. Prisca’s ultimate goal is to open a “consulting firm that helps place people (from the Caribbean) in homes and other dwellings when they can’t afford to live on their own” due to unexpected life events.
Outside of her full-time career and priscaliliane, Prisca enjoys dancing, music, traveling, reading and giving back to the community. She is also a very active member of the NCNW (National Council of Negro Women).
This year Prisca is looking forward to the official launch party for priscaliliane and creating more brand awareness. She is beyond excited to expand her community, engage and interact with other phenomenal young women who want to grow and network.
Show her some love y’all and you know she’ll do the same!
